Today I experienced a fantastic course at Antonelli called ‘So you want to make gelato’. The course structure was spot on, the content was very interesting and above all, Jonny Ireland was a brilliant host. His humour and knowledge made it easy to understand, enjoyable and a memorable experience. Getting to see how gelato is made in different types of machinery was great. Even more so because we were able to taste the goodies! A nice atmosphere at the academy and the group I was with were lovely. Mark Antonelli popped in to say hi too! I highly recommend their course and product offerings. Look forward to my next visit soon to learn more about the ice cream industry and starting a business.

This training was excellent; informative, inspirational and affordable giving balanced content as outlined in the advert. The trainer was comprehensive and the staff were extremely welcoming and very accommodating to me as a mother with family responsibilities; truly this is a family business. Attending the course with others in the industry was excellent and added much value. Gaining insights from established, growing and dreaming people in the industry made the overall experience exceptional. I would recommend it. The only down side is that you can’t eat as much ice cream as you may like 
but perhaps that is better for the waist line!

We very recently attended a one to one course at Antonelli’s gelato academy in Manchester…and WOW what a day we had. We were greeted by the tik tok sensation that is Gelato Jonny! His knowledge, professionalism and passion was phenomenal. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. Our superb lunch was served and we chatted all day about our ideas and plans. We were very blessed to meet both of the Antonelli Brothers whilst we were at the academy, which really was lovely as they were incredibly passionate about their business and ours. Overall we can not wait to get started. We also can not wait to head back to the academy for further training. This is the start of a wonderful partnership. Thank you so much Jonny!!

This was probably one of the best Pop Ice days we have had to date! Johnny was incredible, friendly and so informative. He dedicated his day to us teaching us the basics and more advanced techniques of making ice cream. The day then culminated in making some incredible ice cream flavours and sampling some of Johnny’s expertise and hard work. The entire day was amazing from start to finish, they all took so much time to make us feel like a valued and important customer, which is so rare in this day and age. They solidified an already solid relationship we had with them. We will look forward to working with them in the future and increasing the strength of our relationship and in turn a friendship.

I was invited down to Manchester to spend the day with Jonny Ireland, to help develop some recipes for the Ice Cream Manufacturer that i work for. Being new to Ice Cream development, Jonathan dedicated his day to teaching me the basics from his ‘ So you want to make Gelato’ Course. This followed with demonstrations of the recipes we had created. Jonathan is highly skilled and knowledgeable in this field and has a great way of communicating what he is explaining to make it easy to digest. I came away feeling confident in my ability to balance an Ice Cream recipe. Not only that but he prepared me lunch and David Antonelli joined us, which was lovely. This company go above and beyond to support their customers, exceeding expectation. I had a great day with Jonny and came away with some delicious samples and lots of ideas for future recipes.
