Antonelli is a family company, with the heritage of four generations of making ice cream cones. As pioneers in the UK ice cream market, we are passionate about ice cream excellence. The Antonelli team like to share their passion about ice cream with those starting an ice cream business. We take a personal approach with our customers, offering support from set up to established businesses. Our bespoke gelato training and ice cream training facility – the Antonelli Gelato Academy is the only one of its kind in the UK, purpose built for ice cream training courses and gelato training courses.
***During the current situation relating to COVID-19, Antonelli is following general commercial advice for social distancing. Only authorised employees may visit our bakery. However we are resuming our One 2 One ice cream training sessions at our Gelato Academy starting week commencing 15 June 2020. See our blog on Safe Ice Cream Training for more details. We are still unable to fulfil our scheduled courses until social distancing restrictions have been eased. However please do contact us to register your interest for when we are able to hold courses in the future.***
As a company, we are dedicated to supporting our customers, whether you are starting an ice cream or gelato business or well established in the market. Our full time National Technical Manager is on hand to answer your technical questions. We provide ice cream training courses and gelato training at the Antonelli Gelato Academy or on your premises across the UK if so desired.
With over 100 years in the business, we are now the only UK manufacturer of all types of ice cream cone. Antonelli is the sole UK distributor for Italian company MEC3 (who make world-leading flavours and ingredients). This makes Antonelli unique in the industry. The Antonelli name is well known and respected amongst wholesalers, ice cream manufacturers and parlour owners alike. Twice our company has been approached by the BBC. Our factory has featured on the ‘Great British Bake Off ‘ as well as the CBeebies programme ‘Do You Know?’ If you would like to see these clips and find out more see the BBC blogs on our main website.
