As pioneers in the UK ice cream market, we are passionate about ice cream excellence.  The Antonelli team like to share their passion about ice cream with those starting an ice cream business.  We take a personal approach with our customers, offering support from set up to established businesses.  Our bespoke gelato training and ice cream training facility – the Antonelli Gelato Academy is the only one of its kind in the UK, purpose built for ice cream training courses and gelato training courses. ***During the current situation relating to COVID-19, Antonelli is following general commercial advice for social distancing and the step by step plan set out by the UK Government.  Only authorised personnel may visit our bakery.  We have been delighted to be able to resume our One 2 One ice cream training sessions with enhanced hygiene and protection measures at our Gelato Academy and on customers’ premises.  Our So You Want to Make Gelato (SYWTMG) online courses have proved popular whilst restrictions have prevented face to face training. We will continue to run the online sessions to enable access to the SYWTMG course for all.  However we are pleased to report that we have also restarted our face to face SYWTMG course for a maximum of 6 attendees. For all other courses please do register your interest for when we resume our full schedule. Mark Antonelli

Sales & Technical Director

Mark and his brother David are the 4th generation of Antonellis to manage the family business. Mark has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in making and selling ice cream and gelato. Mark provides specialist training and technical direction at the Antonelli Gelato Academy and with customers across the UK.

Jonnathan Ireland

National Technical Manager

Jonny leads the ice cream training courses and provides ongoing technical support to customers across the UK.  Also known as ‘Gelato Jonny’, he is a regular contributor to the ICA’s monthly Ice Cream Magazine.  If you are not a member of the ICA and have not seen the Ice Cream Magazine you can read his articles here.  Keep checking back for the latest Gelato Jonny blog.

Gary Brooks

National Sales & Customer Services Manager

Gary manages all the course bookings, liaises with customers and oversees Customer Services, who will also provide you with advice on logistics if required. As National Sales Manager Gary works with our Business Relationship Managers to support our customers nationwide.

Josef Boni

Commercial Director & Technical Manager Scotland & Ireland

Based in Scotland, Josef works alongside Mark, Jonny and Gary on product development and  customer support.  A well known figure in the industry, Josef has many years of hands on experience in making gelato. He also has access to labs in Scotland providing technical support to customers alongside machinery manufacturers.
