Our bespoke gelato training and ice cream training facility – the Antonelli Gelato Academy is the only one of its kind in the UK, purpose built for ice cream training courses and gelato training courses.

During the summer we were pleased to be able to resume our One 2 One ice cream training sessions with enhanced hygiene and protection measures at our Gelato Academy. We provide ice cream training courses and gelato training at the Antonelli Gelato Academy or on your premises across the UK if so desired.
With over 100 years in the business, we are now the only UK manufacturer of all types of ice cream cone. Antonelli has exclusive partnerships with leading Italian flavours and ingredients manufacturers. We also have our own GELPRO range which is created by Italians but designed specifically for the UK market. This makes Antonelli unique in the industry. The Antonelli name is well known and respected amongst wholesalers, ice cream manufacturers and parlour owners alike. Twice our company has been approached by the BBC. Mark and his brother David are the 4th generation of Antonellis to manage the family business. Mark has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in making and selling ice cream and gelato. Mark provides specialist training and technical direction at the Antonelli Gelato Academy and with customers across the UK.
National Technical Manager
Jonny leads the ice cream training courses and provides ongoing technical support to customers across the UK. Also known as ‘Gelato Jonny’, he is a regular contributor to the ICA’s monthly Ice Cream Magazine. Gary manages all the course bookings, liaises with customers and oversees Customer Services, who will also provide you with advice on logistics if required. As National Sales Manager Gary works with our Business Relationship Managers to support our customers nationwide.
Commercial Director & Technical Manager Scotland & Ireland
Based in Scotland, Josef works alongside Mark, Jonny and Gary on product development and customer support. A well known figure in the industry, Josef has many years of hands on experience in making gelato. He also has access to labs in Scotland providing technical support to customers alongside machinery manufacturers.
